Today, it is a point of reference in Italy and worldwide, offering high-quality products for various sectors: clothing, furniture, footwear, leather goods, and luggage.
Fabric Coating
Performed using three in-house machines and various specialized equipment.
Application of Protective Layers
To achieve specific technical characteristics (e.g., chemical resistance, water repellency, abrasion resistance, printability, and fire protection).
Fabric Bonding and Lamination
Permanent and water-soluble bonding of various types of fabrics.
Contract Fabric Coating
We perform anti-fraying, water-repellent, and flame-retardant coating and resin finishing, using acrylic and polyurethane resins.
Specialization and Production Capacity
A sector of particular expertise is the production of canvases for painters, an activity carried out with passion for over thirty years, capable of satisfying every artistic need.
The company manages the entire production process within the Gallarate facility (north of Milan), ensuring quality control at every stage, from initial preparation to packaging.
Saler sas's production facility is equipped with 3 coating lines, with a production capacity reaching approximately 35,000 linear meters/day (current production: approximately 20,000 linear meters/day).

Since 1966, our company has been producing artist canvases under the CARAVAGGIO CANVAS ITALY® brand.
We guarantee the highest Made in Italy quality in every item, thanks to fifty years of experience and the careful selection of raw materials.
In the creation of our canvases, which stand out for the excellence of the raw materials, we use various types of fibers such as cotton, linen, jute, and polyester, ideal for every kind of artistic production.
Each item is entirely processed in our facility in Italy. We closely monitor all production stages, from initial preparation to final packaging, ensuring constant quality control.
CARAVAGGIO CANVAS® Branded Canvases
Production and Advanced Technology
At our facility, we produce the wide range of CARAVAGGIO CANVAS® branded canvases, the result of continuous research that satisfies every demand of the art market. Every day, we produce approximately 5,000 linear meters of canvas for both the Italian and international markets. In 2019, our production exceeded 2,000,000 square meters.
For 15 years, we have also specialized in the production of inkjet canvases for high-quality digital printing of fine art reproductions and graphic arts, covering approximately 150,000 square meters per year.
